regenerate offline address book

When I try to configure my email for offline use I get an error saying:

!Task 'Microsoft Exchange Server' reported error (0x80004005): 'The operation failed.'

I have been told that I need to regenerate the offline address book on the Exchange Server. How do I do this?

Please Help!
