Refresh/Repaint

Hi all,
I have a form that allows edits via a pop up form. When a user changes something on the pop up form, and clicks save, I want the main form to reflect these changes immediately. The main form is filtered so I would want it to update and stay on the record the user was last at.

I tried setting main form Activate events to me.repaint/me.requery but it doesnt work?!
