Redundant messages when cluster fails over

Hi everybody,

We have a clustered MS exchange 2000 working (almost) fine.
This weird thing happens :
When cluster is failing over, some users are re-receiving old e-mails, from one day to a week old.
Not all users are receiving old e-mails.
Quantity of these e-mails is between 1 and 10 for each user.
We are very confused as we didn't find any related document on internet.
Any help would be welcomed.
