Let me preface this thread by saying I know I am not a Cisco Wizard and before any purchasing begins I will have a wizbang CCIE involved in the project, but for now I need some basic info so I can put together some budgetary numbers for managment.
I am considering adding a second connection to the internet via Tachyon Satalite Broadband via BGP for failover purposes only. I am getting conflicting information regaurding how large my address space needs to be in order to do BGP. My question is, is it just an ISP policy thing or are there actual technical reason why SOME ISPs won't do it? I have a /26 range of IPs.
Second question, has anyone used Tachyon for this purpose and have comments on how they were to deal with.
