Hello all. We are getting a backup internet connection for our web and dns servers. I have a HUGE question that I cannot find any good answers too. The backup link is on a seperate network with different IPs and all. The one thing I need to know is, if my primary link fails and my backup kicks in, how will clients resolve DNS to the new IP addresses? They can't unless something is done, but I DON'T KNOW WHAT! Can anyone help me? I have looked into dynamic DNS but am not sure if this is the best method. Also heard alot about BGP and round robin DNS. Can someone point me in the right direction?
