Hi all,

I'am looking for a fucntion to reduce the number of pages from let's say 3 pages to 2 pages. I know, or at least I think so, there was a function for this in Word 2000, but I can't remember the name or where to find it.

Anyone got a clue??

Thx,

Sense.

??? Hmmm....you could use thumbnails (choosing two images per sheet):

If you're engaged in laying out a rather complicated document that just has to look good coming out of the printer, first print thumbnail copies of your document on a single page. These thumbnail copies let you know how the document will be laid out and where the page breaks will be, so you can make adjustments before printing the entire document.
1. Click File, Print
2. Click the Scale To Paper Size down arrow
3. Select the paper size with which you're working
4. Click the Pages Per Sheet down arrow
5. Select the number of pages you'd like to see per sheet
6. Click OK

...or...you could reduce the font size and tweak the margins until you've brought the doc into two page length.

or...I could be totally misunderstanding your question...

...or you could use "Shrink to Fit" while in Print Preview on the File menu drop down...

Hey Carr,

"Shrink to fit" that's what I was looking for. I don't know it was in Print preview, that's why I couldn't find it.

Thx,

Sense.
