Redo Domain Questions

Believe it or not, I'd like to redo the entire domain (servers only). We have problems with our servers from time to time and I'd like a full restart.
My questions are:
Recreating accounts, recreates SIDs, recreates permissions, problems with profiles, problems with mailboxes.

ANY way of getting around this?
Would I have to start completely fresh with new SIDs?
Would roaming profiles solve my SID problem or just profile problems?

Take a look at using ADMT. The active directory migration tool. It will preserve the sid
