Hi

I am trying to set up a redirect rule in outlook 2003, but the redirect rule is not on the list?
Though in outlook's help pages it gives detailed instructions of how to set the rule up and it says click the redirect rule? Strange???

Example of what I am trying to do, say you complete a form on a website and give your email address in it, this info is received by me as an email, Outlook rules looks for some text in the body of the email and when found, redirects the email to a given email address.
But I want it to redirect, not forward, as when the person receiving the final email click reply, I want it to go to the original sender (the person that filled in the web form), not me!

Hope that makes sense?

Hope someone can help?

Many thanks

Happy.

Neither has mine. But if you use the Start from a Blank Rule option, after selecting the message criteria, you can set the 'forward to account or distribution list rule'. There isn't one that actually says 'Redirect' unless you are in Outlook on an Exchange 2003 server.

Maybe then it's the Outlook on an Exchange 2003 server, that the help file is refering to?

Thanks anyway.
