Hi,

ISA 2006 - we have 2 email domains and are trying to phase one of them out - I want to be able to redirect OWA users who type to mail but in such a manner that the certificate for domain1 never comes into play.

The main reason is that we have purchased a publicly-trusted digital certificate for domain2 and want our users using that address. Domain1 has an internally-issued certificate that will be expiring soon and we don't want to renew it or purchase another cert for this domain. It has a separate namespace and TLD (.biz not .com like domain2) so a wildcard cert is out of the question.

Thoughts on the best way to proceed?

Thanks...

You need to setup another hostname on a public name server (ie: your registrar), and point it to your current public address for OWA. This will of course match the CN of your new certificate.

Then, replace the certificate on the OWA listener with the new one.

I hope you find this post helpful,
