redirect from http to https

Hello,

for the security reasons we have installed certificate on ISS and we want to go users through https. The thing is that they can access the page even through http. Let's say

http://mydomain.com

to redirect into

https://mydomain.com.

I tried using meta http-equiv="refresh", but it loops 'till no end.How this is possible that the same website to be accessed only as https not and through http.
