RedHat on Toshiba A70-TS100E

I have buy a new notebook this week.

I have installed Win XP PRO first on a partition and i'm tryng to install RedHat 9 on the second one.

When I boot from the CD, I start the install in Graph or text mode and i get the same problem.

I get a blank screen after some seconds and HD and CD stop.

The only thing i can do is a shutdown by pressing the power key for few seconds.

Any ideas???

hmm I have a Tosh notebook and i cannot get Linux installed with Win or on its own. After searching the net i found that Linux wasn’t compatible with the notebook Hope that is not ur problem. By the way In case you are wondering I gave it the wife.
