Hi there!
I have searched thru the forums, and have not come across this problem...
I am currently running Red Hat 9 on my system. I just installed it, and am a bit of a newbie. I know, its a bit daft jumping two feet first into the deep end of the pool...
Anyways, I have read through lots of documentation, and to still no avail.
When I go to change my screen resolution (to 1280*960 - currently at 800*600 - i have latest Nvidia Drivers installed), it says that I need to log out. So I log out, and log back in, but its still at 800*600 :\
Now call me stupid, but is that supposed to happen? Because I dont think it is
Anyways, My graphics card is an Nvidia GF4 MX with 128mb RAM. My monitor is a crappy Premier (unknown model), and I know it supports 1280*960, and my system is AMD 2000+ XP, 512ram, 80gb hdd. If anyone can help me, I would be appreciate it alot
thx for reading this long winded question to probably a small problem
