Hello people, just wondering if anybody out there has had the same problems that I'm encountering.
First off, I'm running Red Hat 9.0 (with updates) and I'm trying to set-up Iptables (firewall/router) (no I don't want to use any other programs off the "net" - must learn linux iptables).
I'm trying to use the "state machine" (using ip_conntrack module), I've done a search on my machine for ip_conntrack and came up with nothing. I do have Iptables loaded but the script says it was developped by "RH-Lokkit" (obviously Red Hat).
So my question is How do I get "state machine" working if I don't have ip_conntrack?
And is Redhat pulling my chain with their own so call firewall (Lokkit)?
I'm sure I'm not the only one who has run into this problem, I'm also new at this linux thing (trying to get away from Windows).
Thanks for your time
