when we delete files on server they are not going to recycle bin (unless they are deleted directly on the server machine) is it possible to change this or to remedy in some other way to prevent data loss.
Thank's

Not as far as I am aware (although admitedly I am not aware of much). Generally a backup device is used on the server so you can restore files.

ArchonSoft,

What you are experiencing is normal. The Recycle Bin only contains files that are deleted on local drives, not networked drives such as mapped drives. Unless there is some undocumented feature of Windows that I'm not aware of.
