is it possible to make a custom tag call itself recursively?
is it possible to use recursivity with cf?

i think it is (nothing prevents it) but it'll be slower and take more memory than "classical" programming - i don't know if cf can crash with stack overflows but it might !!
try to de-recursivate your algorithm ... ------
please review FAQ183-874 - this will help you to get the best out of tt
