When a user logs into his XP Pro box, he keeps getting the error, "Unable to connect all your network drives." However, all his drives ARE connected and he has full access to them. I've tried disconnecting and reconnecting them, to no avail. I've also checked all his mapped drives and he did have two that had <none> for the drive letter. I removed those yet he still gets the error message.

Thanks,
Bryan

Well, you are not going to see the ones that are not connected so easily. Look in several places:

1. Use Windows Explorer to see if there is a Drive letter mapping to a share.

2. Use Windows Explorer and open Network Places and see if there are any red X's. Then click through the list and see if any turn out to be outdate links. You can delete any that are.

3. Check in Network Places for FTP links that are persistant and have died. Remove them.

4. Make certain you did not enable IIs and create a default Web Service and then remove it somehow.

Almost forgot, before doing this go to a CMD session (Start, Run, CMD) and type:

net use /persistant:no

When you are done editing you can turn on persistant:

net use /persistant:yes

or just leave it off.
