This could be to do with a deleted user account that had rights assigned to it. Have a look at Q247482

OK, some more information, in my winlogon.log file I get the following error. (I deleted some of it....directly under the header(---Config...Rights...)there was a list of...Configure S-~~where ~ is a variable~~, and then it said the underlying.


----Configure User Rights...
Configure NetShowServices.
Error 1332: No mapping between account names and security IDs was done.
Cannot find NetShowServices.


User Rights configuration completed with error.



I dont know if I have been very clear, but I have been at this and a couple of other issues for the last 30 hours....YAWN.....
