I have cleaned out my W98 system - deleting unwanted apps, data, running Spybot, etc. Disc space was being recovered well. Then suddenly the system reported 'nearly full' status - the app DiskData reports that the folder _RESTORE holds 85% of the disc space

How do I delete this _RESTORE Folder and revover all that free space

Thanks

Are you running 98 or ME? I thought _restore was an ME folder.

Here is a link about disabling system restore in ME:

If you are truly running 98 and this is a folder that you do not want/need for any backup purposes, you could try booting up with a startup disk and deleting it from the dos prompt.

It's 10 O'Clock ( somewhere! ).
Are your registry and data backed up?
