I'm installing Networker Recovery Manager for Unix in a test environment and getting errors when I try to add clients to the NRM server. My Networker Server/NRM server is a Sun v240 running Solaris 8. The NRM boot server has the same configuration, and the clients are a combination of Solaris 8 and Solaris 2.5.1. I was able to add the bootserver as a client but when I tried to add the nw server and other clients there were errors. I ran
nrmconfig -a -c <clientname> -b <bootserver>
-S <nw_server>
to add the server and got this error;
nrmconfig:error. Executing 'nrmupdate' for client
failed. Reason:Error occured while
executing 'savenrmsrvr'
When I tried to add clients the errors occurred while executing "saverm" and "nrmupdate".
Any ideas?
