Recovering Outlook Express email after re-installing Windows

I had to DELTREE the windows directory on my computer. After I re-installed Windows and set up my email, my old email folders and messages were not visible. It looks as if they still exist as .IDX and .MBX files in the Program Files\Outlook Express\Mike directory. Is there any way to get the info back into Outlook Express?
