Our Nt4.0 server had crashed and the Exchange 5.5 doesn´t work anymore. The folders we could rescue are few, such as ´exchange´ folder. The problem is we don´t have a backup from all boxes inside (in .pst files) The question is how could we restore all messages from this folder. It contain all exchange structure, no file is missing, the bigger file is more that 4Gb of size. I think to install a new Nt 4.0 and Exchange 5.5, then setup all exchange configuration. After all i wanna copy my ´exchange´copy folder in place of original recently installed...is this the right way for restoring messages?? If i dont know all recipient´s names...how could i know it?? Is there a safe way to restore all boxes from ´exchange´ folder?? Need keeping original ´C´ or ´D´drive letters for restoring??
