I have "inherited" a KeyDB (version 1.50) database file (file extension .udb) which I need to extract data out of, but the client does not know the database master key/password. The front end app is in Delphi 6, but I don't have the source code, only the compiled executable. Does anyone know of a way to recover the password from the database file?

Have you tried the KeyDB technical support people ?

I did a google search for keydb and the second entry had a cached version of the page:

The cached version may well disappear from the google servers after a time so here's what the page says:
keydb.com(cached version) said:
The KeyDB database engine is no longer being developed or supplied to Delphi Developers.

All registered users should have received details of a final release and crossgrade offer by August 16 2005.

If you are a registered user, but have not received any information, please email <support AT keydb DOT com> with your registration details
