Records are disappearing in a multiple user environment

Thanks for opening this!  I have created a multiple user application with about 25 users with linked tables to a server.  The forms and reports reside on each persons' hard drive.  I have been hearing, recently, from my users that they will enter a record into the form and it disappears the next day when they look for it.  I have the Edited Records option selected in the Database Properties so I don't think that is the problem.  I am looking for some suggestions or solutions for this problem.  Thanks.

I have seen users confused by combo boxes on forms where they end up overlaying somebody elses data. They think that they in addition mode when they change the item in the combo box especially if it looks like the key to the form. If you ask a couple of users to show you how they entered the data you should be able to spot if this is happening or some variation on this.<br><br>
