Can we record a message on hold using telset like 1416? Client wants to add a brief message to play while call is on hold.

Yes, but it won't magically work. You could record to holdmusic.wav and put it on the sd card or tftp server, and make your hold music "WAV".
Unless you mean a queuing message, which then yes, you can do that. You didn't mention if you have vmpro or embedded, they are two different processes.

Thanks for the details. They are running Essential Edition. Can they have a queuing message on that?
