Record total report....

in the database window choose queries then new and design view. Coose the table then the column from your toolbar choose the sigma sign which will allow aggregation in the totals line choose sum and run it by clicking on the red exclamation mark.
Once you are happy with this go back to the database window and choose reports and new use the report wizard to walk your way through.
