Help ...please

I have searched through previous questions but can't find any reference to this problem.

On opening my continuous form the vertical spacing of the detail section isn't constant, it increases record by record. Also if I scroll up and down the records kind of merge and get obliterated.

Any ideas would be gratefully received.

Thanks

Phil

if you have "can shrink" or "can grow" marked for your detail, turn them off. you might also want to play with the "auto resize" of the form to see if turning that on/off helps. as for the screen merging and obliterating itself - that's a product of bad screen repainting, probably caused by insufficint graphics resources or too many controls for it to try to repaint as you're resizing the form. try dragging another window over your form to see if that fixes it. if so you might want to put a "repaint" command in your code. not sure where, though - there is no "scroll" event. maybe you should try an "on mouse move" for the detail secion or something. using the timer event might also work, just remember to set the timer on the property sheet when you test it out.
