I have just finished building a fairly complex form with about 30 checkboxes, 1 option group (5 choices), a combo box, editbox and 30+ cmd buttons. When I go to save it I get a message "record out of range" any ideas?

Thanks

Hi Jim,

I've found this bug to show up sporadically in VFP when a form has a lot of controls.

To work around it, cut and paste enough of your controls to a holding form so that you get to a level where you can save it (the original). Then re-add the controls little by little, saving as you go along. This has worked for me in the past.

Thanks All. I just copies all the controls to another form and it saved with no problems. Wierd.

Thanks Again

This seems to happen to me most often when I have multiple items such as textboxes on a form that I want to all be formatted the same. I format the original and copy and paste over and over. Usually when I copy and paste one at time I don't see it; however, when I copy and paste then reselect the orginal(s) and the copy(ies) is when I run into this.
