I would like to confirm my theory please :)

I plan to setup a call recording feature button to record on demand, then have call recordings sent to users voicemail.

If i have voicemail to email forwarding set for that user it should then forward the recordings via voicemail?

How long would a 20 minute phone call be in email attachment file size?

Any specific licenses other than preferred edition?

What VoiceMail, embedded or VMPro?
A recording takes approximate 1Mb per minute.

This would be with Voicemail Pro

Then it can work for sure, not sure about embedded.
No special programming needed I think but if it doesn't work for you just ask, we use it at the office.

Just add a Call Record button to the phone and enable voicemail to email. The call will be recorded as an incoming message in your mailbox, and email it to you. If you don't want EVERY voicemail message emailed to you, just the recordings, create a phantom user with voicemail to email turned on, and make that the destination for manually recorded calls on the Voice Recording tab for your extension.

Or in VMPro create a module named "Record" add a "Listen" action and set the target as "$UUI" then compare action to check if it is a recording of the user to send a mail and when true add a email action, in any other case the message will be dropped in the users mailbox.
