One of our customers has reported this and ive had the same results in testing

We have a published desktop which users normally connect to via a w2k pc, however we have one user who wants to disconnect from the desktop session on the pc and reconnect to it via a hp thin client. Whenever we try this it wont pickup the disconnected session and just reports we have hit the connection limit for this user as the app has a limit of 1 per user. If we take this off it just creates a new session

Reconnecting to disconnected sessions works fine normally, but is this a known issue when going from a PC to a thin client ?

Thanks

Andy

I think the Video and screen resolution would require to be the same. I think you can also set to only reconnect from the same PC, somewhere in the CMC. This is probably the situation.

Cheers Ascotta, i think you hit the nail on the head with the video resolution, i should have looked at the message a little closer when i took the application limit off as it then says "An attempt has been made to connect to a session whose video mode is not supported by the current client
"
Thing is, when i match the resolution on both clients, i still get the same problem

If I create a new session from the thin client however, i can disconnect between both pc and thin client until the cows come home, any ideas ?
