Recommended Conference Phone

I'm looking for a conference phone. I think of something like a Polycom Soundstation.
The Conference phone will be connected to a IP Office. I have no preference to the technology.

I know there is a analogue unit from polycom which is working, but the 406v2 has no free phone ports.

DS ports are an option, so I tried a 2490 unit from polycom. The specs say 'Definity' and compatible with 6400, 8400. So, I think it should work. But I can only receive and answer a call, but not dial anything. Very strange. I wonder why it is called 24xx if it is not compatible.

IP is also possible. But the 4690 is also not officially supported. But IP Conference phones are expensive anyway.

There is a unit with DECT. It is connected to the PBX as a DECT-GAP Phone. We have IP DECT there. Is this working?

Are there other vendors with good conference phones that are working on IP Office?

The definity digital polycoms are not supported with the IPO. As for the others i am not sure. we use analog all the time.

Alog Polycom Soundpoint phones all the way. Never tried their IP versions but would think they would be pretty good, if not a little expensive (when you include the 3rd PArty End Point RFA!!!!!).

Work better than any other I have seen.

I would be trying very hard to free up an alog port or buying a Phone 8 to add on.

What about this one:

It connects by DECT GAP. And it is available for a bit less then the Polycom.
IP Office is not listed, nor is any other DeTeWe IP-DECT System. But it works even with a Siemens GigaSet at Home.

Anyone used this?

Maybe the 4690 will be supported in a bit
