Recommendations on a medium powered NT 4.0 workstation clone

I'm looking for information that would give me an understanding on Win NT workstation hardware configurations. I know what the minimums are from Microsoft, but I wanted to know what the working professional chooses to use. <br>
The system will run office 2000 professional, IE, and two specialized apps. Any suggestions?
