Please redesign the mounting kit to include oval holes instead of round ones so you don't have to fight with them and you can adjust the placement of the modules so they can be mounted in a rack easier.

19 inch racks aren't very forgiving sometimes.

Thanks in advance.

very simple but it would be effective, I would agree that that would be a good idea

Another thing is the screws
I had a pfew times that it was so narrow it wouldn't fit because of the screws
I would like to see flat screws

How about making the units fit into the rack so cable management can be added without leaving gaps between each unit/management bar!!!. I was at a fully racked 406v2 yesterday, repositioning the bolts on the rack mounts would save about 4U in that cabinet!!

I know we are supposed to use the useless things provided with the rack mounts on either side of the unit for cable management, but, 30 patch leads just do not fit!!!!!!

Question from customer: "How big is each IP Office Unit?"
Response from me: "It's a U and a bit plus a few spare bolt holes either side of each unit for 'air flow'!!!!!"

Fooball is not a matter of life and death-It is far more important!!!!

IPO units are 2U high plus 1/3 of a U because of the rubber feet which allow it to sit on a flat surface.
Its never really been an issue with me as long as you space it between the U gaps correctly. not all the mounting holes are equidistant from each other.

HEY! Someone else that uses the "air flow" excuse. I usually put the cable D rings above and below each 2 units since 2 units will stack directly against each other but the 3rd will always have a gap.

Only problem with Management is the 1m Expansion Lead limit. 7 modules on the Avaya Leads is about it!!! Put the units bang next to each other and your away.

Or put the Controller in the middle of the lot!!!!

Air Flow is always needed!!!!
