recommendation please -excel vb

Hi- I am instructor who has been getting a lot of requests to teach and create some Excel macros. Any recommendations on a good reference book or manual for Visual Basic as a starting point. I have some basic programming skills but need something basic to start with as I am very rusty.
All suggestions appreciated.
