Hello All

I have an exchange server with 185 recipients. Users connect to it using both Outlook 2000 and Outlook 2003. Userw with Outlook 2000 can see the members of the different distribution group. However, messages sent to the group are not delivered to the recepients. Users on outlook 2003 cannot see the members of the the groups.

Solutions are welcome and will be highly appreciated.

Instead of using a domain distribution group, use a universal distribution group. The membership of a universal group is stored in the GC partition.

The membership of a domain group is obtained by contacting a designated expansion server in that domain. If any issue occurs in the process the call still succeeds, but the result is a null set and the message is dropped silently.

Thanks for the suggestion. However, this did not help. I just realize that the server that holds the recipients and the distributions lists is missing from the list of expansion servers.

Hope this shed more light on the issue.
