Hi
I have done a search in the forums for this and can not find anything so maybe someone could shed some light on this for me.

Firstly I am new to Exchange, which is where the problem lays.

The problem is as follows.

The first mistake I made was setting up the smtp connector with the wrong details, I used mail.btinternet.com when I should have been using smtp.btconnect.com. However, when this was set to mail.btinternet.com as described above I could send mail out to any btinternet/btopenworld account.
When I change the connector to the correct settings smtp.btconnect.com I can no longer send any mail out. The message that the cleint gets in return is

Recipient Not Authorised [recipient rejected due to no authorised destination groups]

The server is running SBS2000.

If you need any more info just ask.

Any help on this would be great

Thanks in advance

Lee

If email address is NOT valid and has to be used to send over mail.btconnect.com, then you may need to transfer your domain name into BT Openworld.

Thanks for that, I think that might be where the problem is.
