Reception with SoftConsole

Hi,

We are trying to improve the setup of our reception. We currently use the SoftConsole software with 4 attendants (2 at the front of house and 2 at the back) but obviously this is written for the call centre scenario.

What we would like to do is have calls on the main line to ring on all attendants (like a coverage answer group) so that the receptionists can have visibility of all calls. If however the call cant be answered it will be covered to a group of staff with normal phones.

The reason for doing this is so that the receptionists can talk to clients at the front of house and then the back receptionists can take the volume of calls if required.

We have used the IP SoftPhone software to trial this with a coverage answer group and this seems to work well, but the SoftPhone software is not good enough for the receptionists to use.

Any thoughts?
