Receiving error massages when using VAL manager to backup voice files 1

We recently installed a TN2501AP board in our PBX. I am using VAL Manager 1.3. When I attempt to backup two voice files to my pc I get the following error message:

Mon Jan 12 12:22:12 EST 2004 **Task: Backup VAL Board, Task ID: 4** 192.168.1.1: ValFtpClient constructor: Unknown error on ftp attempt to '192.168.1.1', but the ping was successful. Ftp client reported 'Operation timed out: connect'.


What am I doing wrong?

I got that error when I connected the val, pbx and voicemail all on one 5 port data switch. I had to run a seperate cat 5 to my main data switch instead of having them share one connection....
