Whenever I receive an email in Outlook 2000 the timestamp on the email is 1 hour old.

ex.

I receive an email at 10:00 am but the timestamp says 9:00 am.

I talked to our server admin about this and he said he reset the clock in Plesk to the correct time. We are using qmail.

I just logged into webmail and saw that there was 1 email in there. The timestamp was 11:28.

I downloaded this email in Outlook and the timestamp is 9:28. I am in the Central Time Zone

Any thoughts on this one?

thanks,

I am still having timestamp issues.

I just sent myself an email. The time was 9:12 am CST when I sent the email. Less than a minute later I received the email with a timestamp of 8:12 am.

The clock on my computer is correct as usual.

Does it sound like this issue is with the server or Outlook?

thanks, malaize2

Sounds like either your PC or your email server has beed set to not use daylight savings time. Look at Tools - Options and under the Preferences tab, click Calendar Options. There you can click Tine Zone, and make sure the Use Daylight savings time is checked.

Hi Sawedoff,

Thanks a lot. That is exactly what the problem was.
