All the jumps are within about a minute up untill the last jump where it takes 10 hours. I have checked the MX records and they are fine.

I have also run nslookup bur this does not work, it comes back with "DNS request timed out. timeout was 2 seconds."

Also in nslookup when I enter the static ip it comes back with "110.Red-88-2-165.staticIP.rima-tde.net" isn't it supposed to give me the fqdn or somthing?

Please help?
Can anyone suggest anything?

I have done a few more things today, I have tested the DNS's again and they seem to be fine, I found out I was specifying the static ip as the server not my dns server, and once I had done that it came back with my mx record.

Now I am trying to track emails, is there a way to determine whether a mesage has arrived on the server and not been routed yet or maybe that it still hasn't arrived at the server, untill I can determine this, I am not sure what to try next.

Any ideas?
