When outlook downloads emails from the server the received time of some of the old emails changes. Why do the emails show the time the email was downloaded from the server and not the time the server received the message?
How can i fix the problem?

Thanx for any help.

When u download the email from the server, the server before transfereing it to u will give a time stamp to that particular mail. In the same way when ur server recives the mail from any external server or from ur side for trasfereing it will always give a time stamp to that email. It would be done so that u can track a particular message that when it has gone from ur outbox, from the server and lastly when it reached the endpoint. From every point it will get a time stamp.
