Recall message feature working inconsistently

Hello,

I seem to be having some problems with the Recall Message feature in OL2000 being used with EXchange2000. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. i've read all about when it is supposed to work and when it isn't i.e. if the user has the preview pane on, has read the email etc then it won't work. Has anyone got more info as to why this seems to be so fernickety??

Any help would be much appreciated on this one.
