There are 2 Dc's in our windows 2000 environment...server A is the global catalog and was an upgrade from NT4 server B was a fresh install of windows 2K...I want to rebuild server A so it is a fresh install. Server A was the first DC to be windows 2K and like i said is the global catalog server...If i want to rebuild it what problems would i run into by doing this, would i demote it to a member server first then rebuild and run dcpromo after the installation?
