This is related to another post. We have a Micros Res 3700 system. What are the proper procedures (if any) to rebuild a database?
Thanks

If it is micors version 4.x, you can rebuild through the Database manager, if it is a lower version you can rebuild in the utilities area of Sybase Central. Start --> Run --> scview

Also, some versions don't have the Micros bin folders in the path variable. So if Start -> Run -> scview gives you an error, try
Start -> Programs -> Micros Applications -> Utilities -> Database -> Sybase Adaptive Server and click Sybase Central.

I have tried and keep getting an error. It just stops and has a failed box with an ok. I click that and then it gives me no real info on why. Am I missing something?

what version are you running?

also have you check the log rebuild.log file under MICROS\DATABASE\Data\rebuild.log
