What is the proper way to reboot media cards using Element Manager.

If you make a change to the card you need to save and transfer, and then use the reset button on MC card faceplate

Or if you are remote, go to NODE Maint and reports, choose your element and click the reset tab. That works just like pressing the reset button.

A tip. If you need to reset multiple elements (for example a system with 6 media cards and 2 sig servers) do the following:

To do it gracefully, reset 3 media cards, wait 5 minutes, then the other 3, wait, reset the follower sig server, wait reset the leader. This will allow you to reset all elements while maintaining services and minimize disruptions.

If you need to reset all elements and don't need to worry about disruptions, start at the bottom of the list and click on reset from the bottom to the top. If you start with the sig server, you won't be able to reset the cards until the sig server finishes resetting. So, start with the cards, then the follower sigserver, then the leader.
