Hi All,

Not sure where I should post this, so I'll start here as I'm running XP Home SP2.

I started to download the upgrade to RealPlayer V10, but it took so long, I aborted the download.

Now my Hard Drive is constantly hunting - any idea why?

I've uninstalled RP10 and gone back to the last System Restore point.

Try Safe Mode (Do you have this problem in Safe Mode?).

Try running ChkDsk to check your drive for errors. Right-click your Drive icon/ Properties/ Tools/ Error Checking. Select both boxes.

Also try Disk Cleanup, and Disk Defragmenter.

Do you have a download manager running?

It could be that that is the hunter looking for the DL file, which probably is not there any more, to continue the DL...

Try running CC Cleaner, this may find a registry issue.
