Really need modem driver for Compaq Presario v4332EA

Hi all,

I'm after a PCI modem driver for a Compaq Presario v4332EA laptop.

I have checked Compaqs site and it doesn't even list one against this modem, any ideas?

Mostlikely it is a Motorola SM 56k Modem...

but to be sure go to the DEVICE MANAGER, and expand the MODEM then check on the 'DETAILS' hardware PID, something like VEN_1057&DEV_3055...

Let us know the Vendor number and the DEVice number and we can or should be able to lead you to the right driver then...

PS: on some Laptops the MODEM is integrated in the HD-AUDIO chip and driver...

Hi all,

The link didn't list a modem driver.

In the end I obtained a basic one for an Ager Modem and then once it was reocognised by Windows (but not installed properly) I used Windows Update to change it to the correct one.
