Hi (again),
Is there anyway of reading a users NT login in ASP.
I know how to read registry entries in Access to grab the login, is there a way of doing something similar in ASP.
Your help would be much appreciated. I have not been able to find anything on the web surrounding this topic.
Thanks
Ross

Normally, to authenticate an NT user from an ASP page, you use the built-in IIS security, and the operating system does the authentication for you. You set this up through the Internet Service Manager.

If you want to read the registry from an ASP page, you'll need to do it through a component.

nick bulka
nick@bulka.com
