My client has the following scenary: a Novell 4.11 compatible server, two NICS and a UNix server which host a mail application. One nic is 192.168.3.100 and the other 192.168.2.100 .The Unix has the 192.168.3.1(is the gateway) with port 3128,all terminals which belongs to 192.168.1.x set its Outlook express points to this as a proxy and reads ok.What do i need to put in my ´router´field in inetcfg.nlm for the other nic (192.168.2.100) can read this port? I try with this: In field ´destination´ default route 0000 , ´next hope´ 192.168.3.1 Second line: Network 192.168.3.0 ´Next Hope´ 192.168.3.100 Third line: Network 192.168.2.0 ´Next Hope´ 192.168.2.100. It this right?? From a 2.x terminal segment can ping both server nics but can´t ping the gateway. I tryed changing all ´next hope´ value to 192.168.3.1 but terminals in segment 2.x can´t see the gateway.. Is there a way that terminals can open the 3128 port? Or just with accesing the ip can do it? All are welcomed. Thanks
