Hi,

I need to export some tables for someone to look at (design and data), but I don't want them to be able to modify the tables in any way. Is there a way to do this?

Thanks

Use access security to set the permissions for the default user admin and the users group to only be able to read and read design the tables. If you export the data and give it to them, what difference does it make? You keep the original. Just do not take a file back from them. If you plan on getting the file back for some strange reason, make sure all the permissions are still set BEFORE you use it. If they are not the permissions could have been stripped by importing everything to a new file.
