Read-only of Worddocuments

Hy,

I have a small problem.
It happens often that documents that are on the network automatically become read-only without interference of a user.
This is very annoying, because everytime a user opens a document he has to save it under another name.
Can anyone help?

Thx smah, but please note that we are running Windows 2000 Pro on the desktops and Windows 2000 Server on the servers.
The article you refer to only talks about Windows XP.

Oops, saw 'XP' in your second post and didn't read it correctly as 'Office XP'.

installed last updates and patches for Office XP and windows 2000 pro.
problem is still there.
any idees left?
